Tracy A. Robb

Managing Partner

Tracy A. Robb, Managing Partner of Curcio Law Offices is a dedicated attorney with over 25 years of legal experience. Ms. Robb’s meticulous research and exemplary writing skills have led her to manage cases at the firm following success at the trial level. Tracy is renowned in the legal community for her outstanding analytical skills and articulate writing style establishing herself as a strategist for brainstorming with attorneys on many cases at the firm.

Tracy has provided the foundation for victory on many dispositive motions in the court including motions in limine successfully barring the defendant’s experts. In 2014, she successfully managed a fraud claim against Fifth Third Bank resulting in a $5,000,000 release of judgment against the firm’s clients; successfully defended a non-custodial parent of a now forty-year-old man in a child support claim by HFS reducing amounts to zero; and prevailed on a defendant’s appeal of a $2,000,000 verdict won by the firm in a Federal Employers Liability Act claim.

One notable appeal was to the Illinois Supreme Court involving the issue of whether an individual has the right to sue under an assumed name. Ms. Robb prevailed and preserved the client’s right to pursue his claim under his birth name although he first filed the lawsuit using an alias. Santiago v. E.W. Bliss, 2012 IL 111792.

Tracy is active in the legal community, serving on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Evaluation Committee. As part of her appointment, Ms. Robb is tasked with evaluating the moral and ethical fitness of applicants to the practice of law in the State of Illinois. Tracy also performs a great deal of pro bono work in her spare time.

Before joining Curcio Law Offices, Ms. Robb worked as a hearing officer at the Office of the Chief Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County. Tracy played an integral role in resolving various child custody issues during her time with the Circuit Court. She honed her skills early in her career as a Law Clerk for the Illinois Appellate Court. Ms. Robb served two separate terms of two years at the Appellate Court where she researched and drafted numerous opinions.

In addition to her civil appeals, opinion drafting and strategic responsibilities at the firm, Ms. Robb relies on her analytical mindset and accounting background to direct the firm’s business and financial management activities on a day to day basis.
